Message I just dug these up... someone else was asking me for info on this yesterday.

1. Turbo exhaust manifold flange needs to be trimmed 1/8" for stock studs to fully capture the threads in the nuts
2. Turbo exhaust manifold flange needs to be ground on the underside for the stock nuts to fully rotate. Not sure if the stock retaining plates can even be used, I didn't have enough thread to try and use them.
3. Both turbos have a hole on the compressor outlet that needs to be plugged externally
4. The passenger side turbo needs to have part of one of the bolt flanges ground down/off on the compressor to clear the exhaust manifold.
5. Need to include 5 bolt gaskets for the turbine housings
6. Driver's turbo needs to be drilled & tapped to mount the OEM wastegates on the compressor's outer edge.
7. Passenger turbo's wastegate bracket needs to be slotted on the top hole to match the pre drilled bolt holes on the compressor's outer edge.
8. Both OEM wastegates need to be sectioned, 1/4" threaded & have a coupling with jamnuts on either side of the 1/4" threaded coupling to make them pressure adjustable.
9. The oil return tubes need to have the mounting holes slotted to fit the narrower spacing. OEM gaskets can't be used, I used Permatex Ultra Copper to seal them.
10. Mount both turbos with the compressor housings removed, clock center sections with the oil return tubes meeting up with the couplings from the oil pan. Tighten as many turbine housing bolts as possible to maintain the clocking.
11. Driver turbo's outside water line must be bolted and positioned before installing the oil feed on that side. The bracket on the oil feed line is not used.
12. Both oil lines need to be installed and tightened with the compressor housings removed, there's no correct way to get a wrench inbetween the housings to the center cartridge.
13. Clock the compressor housings and reinstall the retaining snaprings.
14. Remove the turbos and check the wastegate opening pressures, Phil recommended 9-11PSI, I set Jaime's @ 10PSI using a constant bleeder setup.
15. Mount everything like normal. The passenger side will require some additional work to fit it because the oil feed fitting on the block interferes with the wastegate lever. Also make certain the wastegate arm does not contact the oil filter tree in it's range of motion.
16. Turbonetics wanted $64 for a single 2"ID hose w/ a 90 degree bend in it & $25 for a 2"ID straight hose of 5 1/2" in length. What they sent did not match the specs I issued them. So I went to Autozone & bought a radiator hose: #886259 M-206 Molded Rad Hose for $7.89 & got BOTH pieces from it after careful sectioning with a hacksaw to make 1 5 1/2" straight piece and 1 90 degree elbow with 3" on one side on the 'inseam' and 1" on the other. The 1" part of the 90 goes on the compressor housing on the driver turbo pointing up, the 5 1/2" piece goes on the passenger side with the end pointing up for the hardpipes to set into.
